Every stitch means something, and accomplishes a goal.  For five years we have been reinventing the wheel, opting not to copy an existing pattern or set of construction details, but to do the hard work of slowly and methodically learning the rules so we can understand when to bend them, when to break them, and when to stay true to them. Every batch has been an experiment and learning experience. There have been high highs, as we've made breakthroughs, and low lows as we've made blunders. The last year and a half of intense hyper focus, and insane amounts of stress (learning on the fly is not easy) have finally led to this moment. Our pattern is rock solid, we know the operations inside and out, and the materials are fantastic. These jeans are finally a complete thought. Thank you for supporting us through this wild time. Built from a 13.5 oz. raw selvedge denim from Nihon Menpu, with a beautifully heavy and durable yarn dyed cotton flannel pocket bag from the same mill. Heavy and ultra durable cotton wrapped poly core thread is used throughout on all seams. Leather washer under than shank nail. Rivets at points of stress. Triple needle flat felled seams. and YKK Excella zipper front closure. The fades on these will go crazy, inside and out, for decades to come.

Model is 5'11", 180 lbs., wearing a 32" waist and a 30" hem. The Denim is Sanforized for shrink control. We recommend buying the size the will fit snug at first, as the denim will relax and stretch with repeated wear.
