It took us ten months of furious and dedicated work to build this factory from scratch, and dial in the patterning, and processes to create beautiful, built to last products, with details that have been mostly abandoned by larger brands. It would be very hard for me to explain the stress of it all. Waking up every morning and enthusiastically running into a wall is a good illustration of how it felt. But lately, with our patterns and details dialed, and our operators comfortable and practiced in all the core garments, things have taken a turn for the better. You could spend millions (and years) building and staffing a factory. We did it on the cheap with no manual or financial backing. There were days I wasnt sure we'd make it. Those days still come on occasion. But if theres anything I know about building a brand, its to focus on the product and stay patient. When folks see and feel and wear this stuff, they will becaome our best advertisers. You can't keep passion and product like this a secret for very long. We have felt the tide starting to turn, and it's been hard to keep stock on the site. Now the real work begins.
