It's an interesting phenomenon to have to observe your own life and culture from a 10,000 foot view as to allow you to recreate it in clothing and marketing. Constantly observing life through the lens of brand has brought up a glaring issue in my life: I don't get to do much shit anymore. Owning and designing for a now successful clothing brand, fathering three children and a dog, spending time with family, oh and eating and sleeping and exercising, really puts a squeeze on that fall Maine trip I romanticize in my head, or that AT hike through the norwester corner of CT, or that overlanding trip to NH. And don't cry to hard for me. Im great. My family is great. Ill get back to it. I just feel like a fraud sometimes not being able to get out and live the life we showcase as a brand anymore. One day soon we will though, and youll get to witness it all. In the meantime, here is the best offering of products we have ever made.
We bought deep in some pretty incredible Japanese peached twill, and flannel, and double faced fleece. We made our own plush durable corduroy and piece dyed it. We stepped up the trim, and the fit, and functionality of just about every item, down to the socks. Even the lookbook shoot and rollout was a huge step forward. Thank you to everyone who noticed and reached out with compliments. The really crazy part is we've really just started. We're still on a shoestring budget and doing everything ourselves. Imagine where this will all go when we have some juice. I can see it all now. For now though, this will all do just fine. Enjoy.
